Rhyming’s always corny
And a poet knows not love
They write to make-up for the lack
Or to make you think they’re romantic
But I've learned a thing or two about them
The poets I mean
Well I don’t want to bash them
Some are quite grand (desmos for instance)
Thought I've met a few, who
Who simple are not.
They think they know, but the do not
They think you care, but no, you don’t
They also think the world revolves
Revolves all around them
And yet the world ignores their voice
Ignores the talent they have at hand.
And now to question their talent
Ill tell you anyone can rhyme!
Its simple not that hard
Watch ill do one for you
“rhyming is quite easy
though it may be quite queasy
some people think its really great
till the end I cannot wait!
There are some words that you cannot rhyme
That’s a lie you’ll see in time.
Today I ate three oranges
And then I drank some soda fizz
Now I've done the impossible
No, my rhymes aren't’t toppable
But some think that they can do it
Sorry, rhyming doesn’t make you a poet”
There the task is now complete
And I have done my job
Not bashing poets was my intent
But posers must beware
A mathematical formula to artwork
Is an oxymoron |
