when all things are equal
when all thoughts are circular
when all questions have an answer
what shall i do
A fear of something you once had
Borne through fear of feeling sad
Forced to make a brand new choice
Just like the last you gave to voice
when something goes up
that something must go down
when one door closes
another door opens
when a butterfly flaps its wings here
a hurricane berates the land there
what do you do when by chance, two doors are open at once
or when you refuse to follow the simple up-down rule
But now you see that this one here
Need not be made, now this is clear
The last came on with no warning
Yet this can wait without mourning
when you know all and understand none.. what good is it
when fear rules your life.. what good are you
when you refuse to do something, are you refusing life
The old arguement was just weak
You chose because you could not seek
A path that steered you clear of pain
Instead your honor bears a stain
by taking a chance, do you realize what you put at risk
by not taking it, do you realize the potentials you end
This time around shouldn't you choose
The path which keeps feelings INTACT
It seems to be a simple decision
The only way to avoid division
is fear of the unknown the reason to balk
or is it fear of something you know will come to pass
is it weak and wrong to avoid a difficult decision which causes chaos for others
or is it a strong and righteous path to choose |
