I once knew a man from Idaho
In terms of wit he was quite slow
Yet once it was that he alone
Was all that stood beyond the stone
If he had walked away that day
Under the stone us rest would lay
But in his great old heart of hearts
He found some strength bereft of smarts
He tried his best to free us all
He rolled away the great big ball
But never did he comprehend
The ball would roll and crush and end
Of all the men who entered it
The mine consumed all but nitwit
For in his great old heart of hearts
He lacked even the least of smarts |
