Basically:
1. No blatant cursing. I understand the use in poetry.. but in conversations.. Its a no no.
2. Place general questions in the Questions forum. Poem-specific questions should be placed under the specific poem on the Specific Poem Directory Forum.
3. Personal work belongs in the Sharing forum under "Writers". Not in the section for my poems.
4. Suggestions for both the forum and the poetry site organization belong in the Suggestions forum.
5. Both the word of LongPatrol and myself are final. Do not abuse the forum. |

Addendum Rules:
6. Keep all criticism constructive. "That sucks" is not constructive. If that's your opinion, tell the author why you think it sucks. Likewise, "I like that" is also not constructive. Tell the author what about it you like.
7. Use proper grammar, spelling, etc. Writing correctly makes you that much easier to understand, and - GASP! - it makes you look smarter. The occasional typo is understandable, but the Internet does not give you a free pass to type like a drunken elephant. The exception to this rule is, of course, if odd formatting is intentional in your poem.
8. Don't be stupid. This is pretty much self-explanitory. |
